Investigative Body
The House Oversight Committee has made public a set of roughly 70 images from the estate of deceased adjudicated individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.
This marks the latest in a series of release from a tranche of more than 95,000 images the body has obtained from Epstein's holdings. It contains pictures of passages from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and redacted images of female international passports.
This action comes just hours before the 19 December cut-off for the Justice Department to release each documents associated with its inquiry into Epstein.
"These new photos pose more inquiries about exactly what the Justice Department has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.
Several of the photographs made public on Thursday show Epstein conversing with scholar and advocate Noam Chomsky on a personal aircraft; Bill Gates standing alongside a individual whose identity is obscured; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation facing Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.
Investigative Body
These are the most recent affluent, influential men to be pictured in Epstein estate images released by the committee - formerly released photos also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US treasury secretary Larry Summers, lawyer Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and other figures.
Appearing in the photos is is not considered indication of any illegal activity, and many of the pictured figures have asserted they were never involved in Epstein's criminal activity.
In a press release released with the photograph release, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not supply explanatory details or timeframes for the images.
"Photos were selected to offer the general populace with openness into a representative sample of the images received from the holdings, and to give insights into Epstein's associates and his profoundly disturbing actions," the statement states.

The release also includes several photos of quotes from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in black ink across various areas of a woman's body, like her torso, foot, hip, and rear. Lolita narrates the account of a adolescent who was groomed by a adult literature professor.
One passage from the work written across a female's chest states, "Lolita: the tip of the tongue traveling of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".
Additionally, there are a series of photos of women's travel documents and identification documents from nations worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the details on the papers, like identities and DOBs, is censored but the panel stated in a announcement that the travel documents are associated with "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".
An additional photo shows Epstein seated at a table closely flanked by three female figures whose faces have been censored - one has her hand on Epstein's torso under his shirt, and another individual is crouching to look at a close-by device. Epstein appears to be aiding the final person fasten a wristband.

An additional photograph disclosed is a image of text messages from an unidentified individual who claims they have been supplied "a number of girls" and are requesting "$1000 per girl".
The body has many thousands of photographs in its custody from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously explicit and mundane," its announcement on this week explained.
The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the property of Epstein, who passed away in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of human trafficking, in August.
The images and files the Epstein estate provided to the committee are separate from what is largely referred to "the Epstein documents". Those are papers within the Department of Justice's control associated with its separate inquiry into Epstein.
In accordance with the recently passed law, which Donald Trump made law in November, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to disclose its documents. The scope of the contents included in the DOJ's records is unknown, and it's likely that much of the material will be extensively censored, akin to House Oversight Committee materials
