I'll dominate 'credible boxer' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants met personally to publicize the upcoming bout.

Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead targeted former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I acknowledge that."

Serious Opponent

In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.

Forecast and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the customary confrontation, with their size difference evident, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly going ahead.
